Very Important
The ignitor element is very brittle. Handle with care. Do not touch the heating element with bare fingers. The oils from your skin can cause a hot spot on the heating element, which could result in the glowbar disintegrating. Handle the glowbar by its ceramic mounting block only. If a glowbar becomes dirty, use a clean cotton cloth to wipe debris or dust off the heating element.
Check the fuse on the printed circuit board, many times they will blow when the HSI fails
No returns of this item will be accepted once the package has been opened and the clasp has been cut. We inspect every ignitor before we ship them.
